Redbreast 18 Year Old Irish Whiskey is the newest permanent member of the Redbreast range from Midleton Distillery and the first to include cream sherry casks in its maturation. The single pot still whiskey, triple distilled from malted and unmalted barley, is aged at least eighteen years in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and casks seasoned with Oloroso sherry, cream sherry and ruby Port, then bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration. The result adds a new dimension to the Redbreast house style: vibrant berry fruit and caramelized stone fruit from the Port and cream sherry, rich hazelnut chocolate, and the classic dried fruit, toffee and pot still spice underneath. The finish is long, sweet and layered. Drink it neat.Presented in a gift box, this 750ml bottle slots between the 15 and 21 Year and is a milestone gift for any pot still fan.
