Jiro Inagaki & Soul Media: Funky Stuff (Japan Import) Cassette - PRE-ORDER｜ Books

"As Inagaki himself described it, this was his take on 'Black funk'. Fusing the explosive energy of jazz-rock with the elasticity and depth of Black music, the sound took a leap into another dimension. Combined with the masterful arrangements by Hiroshi Suzuki, the grooves were refined, lustrous, and full of mystique. From the dynamic and exhilarating 'Painted Paradise', to the mellow-funky 'Breeze', to the crisp, low-end cover of Kool & The Gang’s 'Funky Stuff', every track is a highlight. This is a landmark album constantly in demand across the globe." - Nippon Columbia
