A Little Find｜Detroit Grande Ballroom – 'Electric Christmas' Postcard (Iron Butterfly / SRC)｜ Other Products

An original Grande Ballroom postcard for a holiday run billed as "An Electric Christmas": the New York Rock & Roll Ensemble on Christmas Eve, Iron Butterfly across Friday and Saturday, December 20–21, and SRC on Sunday, December 22.The reverse doubles as a second handbill in its own right, with "Uncle Russ" wishing patrons a Merry Christmas and listing the following week's shows in full: Fleetwood Mac with Rotary Connection (Dec. 26), Fleetwood Mac with the Stooges (Dec. 27), Rationals with Frost (Dec. 28), a farewell party for MC5 (Dec. 29), a benefit for Senator Roger Craig (Dec. 30), and a New Year's Eve bill of SRC, Up and Wilson Mower Pursuit (Dec. 31).This card carries two separate weeks of programming across its two sides, capturing everything from Iron Butterfly's touring at the height of "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" to what the reverse itself bills as a farewell party for MC5.This example comes from the personal collection of Mary Cobra (Mary Ramirez), founding guitarist of The Detroit Cobras.Key Details & Collectability
