PDP Concept Maple 22" 5-piece Shell Pack - Satin Black｜ Other Products

The PDP Concept Maple 5-piece Shell Pack delivers a premium playing experience with European Maple shells, DW-inspired hardware, and a full, versatile setup ideal for studio recording, live performance, and modern gigging. Designed by DW in California, the Concept Maple Series blends custom-shop influence with reliable construction, offering warm resonance, punchy attack, and excellent tuning stability straight out of the box.
This kit features 7-ply maple toms and a powerful 10-ply maple snare equipped with DW’s trusted MAG throw-off and carbon-steel snare wires. The mounted toms utilize DW’s patented Suspension Tom Mounts (STMs) for enhanced sustain, while the bass drum comes fitted with low-mass die-cast claw hooks for consistent tuning and clean aesthetics. Graduated counterhoops, Dual-Turret lugs, and True-Pitch tension rods (with 20% more threads) further improve precision and performance.
Thanks to its European Maple shells, DW-inspired hardware details, and full Remo head setup, the Concept Maple produces studio-quality tone with the projection needed for live work. Whether you’re a beginner upgrading your first serious kit or a seasoned gigging drummer, this configuration offers balanced versatility for rock, pop, worship, and beyond.
