Production Process: This exceptional mezcal is a labor of love, rooted in centuries-old traditions. The Jabali agave, a rare and elusive varietal, is carefully harvested by hand in the rugged terrains of Oaxaca. The hearts of these agave plants are roasted in earthen pits, imbuing the mezcal with the distinctive smoky character that is synonymous with the finest artisanal mezcals. It is then meticulously fermented using wild yeast strains and distilled in copper pot stills, preserving the essence of the agave and the terroir.
An Authentic Oaxacan Experience: Mal Bien Chucho + Poncho Sanchez Jabali Mezcal encapsulates the very soul of Oaxaca, a region known for its mezcal-making heritage. Each sip transports you to the heart of Mexico's mezcal country, where the spirit of adventure and reverence for tradition meld into one.
