The MRCOOL® Signature Series MCAEAWPEF24D21AA is a 24,000 BTU (2-ton) stud-mount air handler engineered for installations where space is limited but performance cannot be compromised. Designed to fit cleanly between standard wall studs, this air handler is ideal for remodels, additions, apartments, multi-family housing, and modern homes where traditional air handlers simply won’t fit.
Despite its slim footprint, this unit delivers strong, balanced airflow (797 CFM) when paired with a compatible MRCOOL® Signature Series top-discharge condenser or heat pump. Flexible front or bottom return air options allow installers to adapt the system to the layout of the space, while the upflow configuration ensures efficient air delivery throughout the home.
Inside the rugged galvanized steel cabinet, a high-efficiency ECM blower motor provides quiet operation, precise airflow control, and improved energy efficiency compared to conventional blower motors. Full cabinet insulation minimizes condensation, reduces noise, and helps prevent energy loss. Maintenance is simple thanks to a built-in filter rack, allowing quick filter changes without removing the unit.
