PDP Concept Maple 5-piece Shell Pack - Red To Black Sparkle Fade｜ Other Products

Delivering professional tone, striking visuals, and DW-designed performance, the PDP Concept Maple 5-Piece Shell Pack – Red to Black Sparkle Fade is built for drummers who demand versatility and reliability. Designed by DW in California, this Concept Maple kit blends European maple shells with innovative hardware to create a powerful, modern drum set suited for studio recording, live performance, and rehearsal spaces. Available now from Sky Music Australia.
The European maple shells produce a punchy attack, warm low end, and balanced resonance that adapts easily to pop, rock, fusion, worship, and contemporary styles. The 7-ply mounted toms are equipped with DW’s patented Suspension Tom Mount (STM) system, allowing the shells to vibrate freely for increased sustain and clarity. The bass drum features die-cast, low-mass claw hooks for focused projection and responsive feel.
This 5-piece configuration includes 8" x 10" and 9" x 12" mounted toms, a 14" x 16" floor tom, a 5.5" x 14" Concept snare, and an 18" x 22" bass drum—offering a flexible setup ideal for both stage and studio use. The 10-ply snare drum comes standard with a DW MAG throw-off and fully chromed snare wires featuring carbon steel coils and chrome end plates, delivering crisp articulation and dependable control.
Finished in an eye-catching Red to Black Sparkle Fade, each drum is fitted with graduated counter hoops, dual-turret lugs, and DW True-Pitch tuning rods with 20% more threads for precise, stable tuning. Factory-installed Remo heads ensure the kit is ready to play straight out of the box. Cymbals and hardware are sold separately.
