Moody forest greens mingle with earthy olive tones throughout Artichoke, giving the design a rich, grounded presence. Squares, diamonds, and angular triangles fit together like an assortment of traditional quilt blocks, creating an intricate patchwork effect without relying on a perfectly uniform repeat. Deep shadows within the batik texture add dimension, while brighter green areas bring just enough contrast to reveal the individual geometric shapes. The nature-inspired palette works beautifully alongside woodland hues, warm neutrals, jewel tones, or other botanical shades. With its darker coloring and layered texture, this print can add depth and sophistication to quilt backings and other generously sized projects.

For best results, machine wash cold on a delicate cycle with mild detergent, tumble dry low and remove promptly; do not bleach. Pre-washing is recommended. *Fabrics are not recommended for children's sleepwear.

The Quilt Blocks 108" Wide Batiks Collection from Banyan Batiks Studio brings the timeless look of traditional quilt blocks to richly colored, handcrafted batik fabric. Geometric arrangements of triangles, diamonds, pinwheels, and squares create the appearance of beautifully pieced blocks, while expressive batik textures give every design added depth and character. The collection ranges from refreshing greens and tranquil blues to vivid pinks, purples, and energetic multicolor combinations, offering options for both subtle and statement-making projects. Made of 100% cotton and measuring 108" wide, these fabrics are especially suited for seamless quilt backings while also offering plenty of possibilities for home décor and other large-scale sewing projects.

Handmade by skilled artisans in Indonesia, each batik reflects a fabric-making tradition that has been passed down through generations. The process involves carefully dyeing the cloth and applying wax-resist designs to create the distinctive patterns, tonal variations, and organic textures that make batiks so recognizable. Banyan Batiks Studio works with Indonesian artisans to celebrate these long-standing techniques while exploring new designs and beautiful color combinations. Because of the handcrafted process, slight differences in color and print consistency may occur from one bolt to another, giving each piece its own unique character.
