Vollrath 38217 Description

To withstand long-term use and frequent loading and unloading, the Vollrath 38217 ServeWell® SL hot food table’s body, legs, and base are made of stainless steel. The table includes three food wells made of fiber-reinforced resin that resists pitting and rusting, and water deposits can be easily cleaned off from their surfaces. Along the wells’ perimeter, no-drip lips help prevent spillage onto the table’s surface to maintain a sanitary serving space, and after use, the wells can be drained with their brass drain valves. Useful for event venues or buffets, this structure measures 46 inches wide by 291⁄2 inches deep by 34 inches high.
Warmed with dome heating elements, the Vollrath 38217 hot food table’s wells each have a correlating thermostatic heat control that can be adjusted for specific cooking needs. Reducing buildup of scale for long-term operation, the heating elements have a nonstick surface. Preventing danger zone risk, the unit can hold food pans at or above 150 degrees Fahrenheit if users cover food pans, maintain well water levels, and regularly stir foods. A low-water indicator light notifies users when water needs to be refilled, overall, it’s recommended to use four deep standard-size food pans.
