High contrast, high charm, and completely tantalizing, Pelargonium ‘Australian Mystery’ is a striking Martha Washington-type pelargonium with pure white lower petals and intense crimson-purple upper petals. The 2" blooms cover a dense, compact mound from summer into fall, creating a bold display that looks especially dramatic at the front of a bed or in a patio pot.
This evergreen pelargonium forms a handsome foliar mound to about 2' across, making it ideal for containers, entryway planters, protected borders, and colorful porch displays. The flowers are crisp, bright, and wonderfully showy, pairing beautifully with deep purple foliage, silver companions, white blooms, and other richly colored perennials.
Plant Pelargonium ‘Australian Mystery’ in full sun to part shade with well-drained soil. It is easy to grow, long-lived in mild climates, and happiest with a twice-yearly side-dress of compost or light feeding. Pinch occasionally to keep plants compact, and protect from frost.
