Matchbook Distilling Underhand Amaro is a 750ml, 33% ABV spiced amaro from Matchbook Distilling Co. in Greenport on the North Fork of Long Island, New York. It combines the fiery warmth of Chinese five spice with the earthy bitterness of amaro, sweetened with rich Okinawan kokuto-style sugar.Star anise, fennel, cinnamon and peppercorns meet the bitterness of gentian and rhubarb root, while green and red Sichuan peppercorns and rare Thai makhwaen peppercorns bring citrusy brightness and a subtle numbing tingle, rounded out by orange, citron peel and Mekong cinnamon. Serve it neat by the fire, or use it in a hot toddy, Old Fashioned, spritz or highball.Buy Matchbook Distilling Underhand Amaro online with fast shipping right to your door.
