The Weekend Edit｜ Other Products ｜"Powder Pink" Isopods (Porcellionides pruinosus)

The “Powder Pink” Isopod is a fast-breeding, highly active cleanup crew species prized in bioactive terrariums for its hardiness and appetite. A color morph of Porcellionides pruinosus, these isopods display soft pink to peach coloration with the species’ signature dusty, “powdered” appearance.
Powder Pink isopods thrive in tropical and semi-humid environments where they help break down waste, decaying plant matter, shed skin, and leftover food. Their energetic nature and rapid reproduction make them an excellent choice for establishing a strong bioactive cleanup crew quickly.
Unlike some slower or more moisture-sensitive species, Powder Pinks tolerate a broader range of conditions and are known for being both beginner-friendly and highly productive. They also reproduce faster than many other commonly kept isopods, making them a favorite feeder and vivarium maintenance species.
