SUB 905-AS MK3 Overview: The SUB 905-AS MK3 is a self-powered extended low-frequency subwoofer with internal DSP. Housed in a compact cabinet, it features a state-of-the-art 15" transducer with ceramic magnets and a 3.0” voice coil. The internal amplifier manages up to 2200W power output, delivering sound pressure levels up to 133 dB. Proprietary Bass Motion Control processing ensures extended linearity and remarkable sound integrity. Rear panel controls include presets, crossover frequency, polarity selection, cardioid, and output delay settings. The tour-ready, rugged all-wood cabinet with scratch-resistant polyurea coating is stackable and lightweight, ensuring quick setups and tear-downs. Built specifically for highly demanding applications, SUB 905-AS MK3 is the perfect workhorse for music professionals.

Legendary Subwoofers: RCF subwoofers are the preferred choice of many sound engineers, offering high SPL levels at very low frequencies, compact dimensions, self-powered design, internal delay control, long-term reliability, cardioid configuration options, and an impressive size/weight to SPL output ratio. Your audience can enjoy an engaging immersive experience in both live sound and DJing applications.

Industry-Leading Subs: Lightweight and powerful, RCF woofers set the standard for high performance. RCF Precision Transducers engineers have optimized magnet sizes and molds to enhance magnetic flux while maintaining low weight. The 15", 3.0" voice coil magnetic circuit topology delivers balanced performance, ensuring consistent magnetic flux gap, exceptionally low distortion, and efficient integration of the magnetic circuit in a minimal weight design. T-pole design optimization minimizes flux modulation during typical voice coil movement within the gap.

Power That Moves: RCF's improvements in transducer design result in stronger and more powerful woofers. The Class-D amplifier, with 2200W power, manages extreme sound pressure levels with an ultra-fast attack, realistic transient response, and minimal heat loss. The energy-efficient design eliminates the need for a cooling fan, with the amplifier attached to a solid aluminum heat exchanger in the rear of the cabinet—no moving parts. The stereo input circuit with crossover features a new low-distortion design with an advanced safety limiter, preserving the true character of the input signal at all levels. RCF amplifiers adhere to EN62368-1 for maximum safety, featuring a Switch Mode Power Supply section that combines high efficiency with minimum weight.

Tour-Ready Workhorse: RCF cabinets, made of high-quality multi-ply hardwood coated with a black polyurea finish, are stackable and lightweight for easy setup and teardown, facilitated by ergonomic handles. A pole receptacle on top and side allows various box configurations. The powder-coated front grille integrates a special transparent-to-sound foam backing to protect transducers from dust.
