Travel Essential｜Salvia greggii - Tangerine｜ Other Products

Bright, cheerful, and wonderfully floriferous, Salvia greggii ‘Tangerine’ brings warm coral-orange flowers to the garden with a tiny white throat that helps guide visiting bees. This autumn sage blooms generously over a long season, adding lively color to sunny borders, dry gardens, pollinator plantings, and large containers.
Also known as Tangerine Autumn Sage, this easy perennial salvia forms an aromatic, shrubby mound that is especially attractive to hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. Its glowing orange flowers pair beautifully with blue salvias, purple verbena, ornamental grasses, yarrow, silver foliage, and other drought tolerant plants. Use it where you want color, movement, and pollinator action without a high-maintenance attitude.
Plant Salvia greggii ‘Tangerine’ in full sun with well-drained soil. Provide regular water while it establishes; after that, it becomes much more drought tolerant and easygoing. Trim lightly to refresh growth and encourage more bloom. Deer resistant, aromatic, and colorful, it is a reliable sage for water-wise gardens. Explore more favorites in our Salvia - Sage collection.
