The MRCOOL® DIYM448HPW02D00 is a precision-balanced 4-zone ductless mini-split system engineered for homeowners who want room-by-room comfort control without paying for professional HVAC installation.
This configuration pairs the MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation 48,000 BTU multi-zone condenser with a carefully matched mix of two 6,000 BTU air handlers, one 9,000 BTU air handler, and one 12,000 BTU air handler. This layout is ideal for homes with varied room sizes, such as bedrooms, offices, nurseries, guest rooms, and medium-sized living spaces.
Installation is made dramatically easier through MRCOOL®’s patented DIY® QuickConnect® technology. Each line set arrives factory-sealed and pre-charged with R-454B refrigerant, eliminating vacuum pumps, gauges, refrigerant licensing, and contractor labor. The included DIYPRO® cable further simplifies installation by removing the need for electrical conduit.
With DC inverter technology, Gold Fin® corrosion resistance, and full MRCOOL® Smart HVAC Controller® support, this system delivers quiet operation, lower energy costs, and long-term reliability—all while remaining truly DIY-friendly.
