Redbreast PX Edition Irish Whiskey is part of the Iberian Series, in which Redbreast explores the sherry and wine casks of Spain and Portugal. The single pot still whiskey from Midleton Distillery, triple distilled from malted and unmalted barley and aged in bourbon and sherry casks, is finished in casks seasoned with Pedro Ximénez, the sweetest and darkest of sherries, and bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration. The PX wood pushes the Redbreast profile toward dessert: dried figs, raisins and dates on the nose with vanilla and oak, then a velvety palate of toffee, dark chocolate and sweet sherry balanced by the signature pot still spice and fruit. The finish is long and lusciously sweet. Serve it neat after dinner. This 750ml bottle is a natural pick for fans of sherried whiskey and a distinctive gift from the Redbreast family.
