The Lucky Horseshoe Necklace is a celebration of the Year of the Horse featuring a prismatic array of gemstones set in a delicate horseshoe pendant, centred by a natural yellow citrine - the lucky colour for those born in this zodiac year. This design is inspired by the determined, optimistic and energetic nature of those born in the Year of the Horse. Intentionally designed to face up, our horseshoe acts as a vessel for good luck and protection, collecting all that is fortuitous and imbuing it to those who wear it. 

18k Gold Vermeil: 2.5 microns of 18 carat gold coating a sterling silver base. 

Features natural gemstones in marquise, oval and round cuts. 

Necklace length: 18 inches (45.72cm). 

Features a silicon ball slider to customise length. 

Horseshoe pendant: 12 x 11mm. 

Set with cubic zirconias and natural topaz, peridot, citrine, tourmaline and amethyst.

Vermeil will naturally tarnish when exposed to environmental factors like air pollution, moisture, and items that contain sulphur. However, it is possible to restore the shine of 18k gold vermeil jewellery, so long as the plating has not worn away.

How to clean 18k gold vermeil jewellery

To keep tarnish from setting in, clean your pieces regularly by gently buffing them with a soft, dry polishing cloth. Note that some polishing cloths can be abrasive, so ensure not to over-polish.  

We use 925 sterling silver, which is a lightweight metal made of 92.5% pure silver. The remaining 7.5% comprises alloy, which makes our jewellery durable and perfect for everyday wear.

Clean by wiping with a soft, dry polishing cloth, or use a silver cleaner solution to soak the jewellery before buffing gently with a silver polishing cloth.  
Ultrasonic cleaners are safe to use on silver jewellery.  
Avoid using abrasive cleaners or brushes, as these can scratch the silver.
