Detailed Description
Gold Heart Bleeding Heart is a standout perennial known for its bright golden foliage and arching stems of pink, heart‑shaped flowers in spring. The foliage provides a strong contrast in shaded beds, pairing well with hostas, ferns, and other woodland perennials. After blooming, the plant may go dormant in midsummer, especially in heat, but reliably returns each spring. Its combination of color, form, and shade tolerance makes it a dependable choice for perennial borders, woodland gardens, and shaded foundations.
