Who can resist picking up a pebble and holding it in your hand to admire its colours, textures and patterns. In this fun workshop we will explore a variety of ways to work with pebbles as your inspiration, using beautiful subtle colour mixes (with some neat shortcuts to creating a soft muted palette). We will work with a range of watercolour techniques – from traditional to more unusual - to create textures and pattern, looking at making abstract compositions using printed and painted shapes and mark-making. We will create a collection of images to use for cards or wall art.
There will be lots of demos & step-by-step instruction in this fun and informal workshop.
