Montanoa grandiflora - Tree Daisy｜ Other Products

Montanoa grandiflora, commonly called Tree Daisy, is the plant that knows how to announce fall with glorious botanical fanfare. Through spring and summer, it grows big, lush, and green, creating a dramatic shrub-like presence that can fill a 10' x 10' space in the garden.
When the days shorten and the weather cools, this spectacular tree daisy erupts into a prolific display of large white daisy flowers, often covering the plant so heavily you can barely see the foliage. The blooms have a delicious, sweet fragrance often compared to fresh-baked cupcakes, making this a wonderful choice near patios, paths, or places where its autumn show can be admired up close. After bloom, attractive chartreuse seed heads add winter interest and are lovely in bouquets.
Plant Montanoa grandiflora in sun to part shade with rich, well-drained soil and regular water. After flowering, cut it back hard so fresh new growth can begin again in spring. Big, fragrant, and unforgettable, it is a true fall garden event. Explore more dramatic woody plants in our Shrubs & Trees collection.
