Power & Portability
A travel-friendly zoom with a sweeping focal range, the 28-300mm f/4-7.1 Di III VC VXD Lens from Tamron gives users the ability to capture wide-angle scenes as easily as intimate close-ups. Designed for Sony E-mount mirrorless camera systems, this lens has a complementary lightweight design, weighing just 1.3 lbs. Handheld shooting is bolstered by Tamron's Vibration Compensation (VC) technology, providing the necessary camera shake reduction needed for capturing at telephoto focal lengths. Its moisture-resistant design coupled with a fluorine coating on the front lens element contributes to its overall dependability out in the field and helps prevent users from being hindered by liquids, dust, and fingerprints sticking to the lens glass. Because of its vast zoom range, build quality, and portability, the 28-300mm f/4-7.1 offers a capable all-in-one solution for capturing subject matter ranging from landscapes and nature to portraits and sports.

High Speed AF with VC (Vibration Compensation)
Driven by Tamron's VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor focus mechanism, high-speed autofocus performance and precision are enabled. Users can expect smooth focus tracking that accommodate sudden movements made by your subject. This linear motor also suppresses noise while focusing, making it ideal for video and shooting situations where discreetness is desired.

Impressive Optical Design
The lens construction of the 28-300mm f/4-7.1 incorporates 20 elements in 13 groups, including one XLD (eXtra Low Dispersion), one LD (Low Dispersion), and three GM (Glass-Molded Aspherical) lenses, effectively controlling chromatic aberrations. The lens's nine-bladed diaphragm contributes to smooth and flattering bokeh.

Minimum focusing distance of 7.5" at the wide end and 39" at the telephoto end.
