High visibility: In open waters, the Swim Secure Tow Float is highly visible due to its bright orange and pink colours. The visibility of swimmers to other water users is crucial for their safety.
Design and function: The tow float is attached to the swimmer via a waist belt and a short leash, floating outside of the swimmer's arm and kick zones. While ensuring the swimmer's visibility, this design minimizes interference with swimming motion.
Low Drag and Dual Chambers: Featuring a lightweight, ultra-low drag design and two inflation chambers, the Tow Float provides minimal resistance and enhanced safety. Dual chambers serve as a precaution in the event that one chamber fails during use.
Construction and accessories: Featuring an adjustable waist strap and a leash, the Tow Float is made of durable PVC. Swimming competitions require it as it is designed for endurance. The Swim Secure tow float with leash and waist strap is recommended for open water swimmers in all bodies of water to increase visibility to other open water users.  The tow-float has a double airbag system which is easily inflated. The adjustable belt design clips securely around the swimmer's waist and the leash ensures that the product remains out of swim stroke range whilst swimming and is very low drag (you generally don't notice it is there). If you need to rest you can hold onto the float and it will easily support an adult's weight. This float is perfect for bodies of water where there are boat users to make the swimmer more visible. It's also ideal for groups of swimmers so you can be easily seen from the shore or in the water by fellow swimmers. The tow-float is recommended for taking children into the open water, as you can spot them very quickly and they can hold onto the Swim Secure tow-float if they need a rest.In the annual Chillswim Coniston event all 750 swimmers use the Swim Secure tow-float for the 5.25 mile length of lake swim. The tow-float makes it very easy for the water safety team to see the swimmers, even in choppy water, and can be used by swimmers in wetsuits or non-wetsuits.Highly recommended for open water swimmers in all outdoor conditions and recommended by the Lake District National Park Authority for safer open water swimming.Size before inflating: 39cm x 25cmPlease note, this is not a buoyancy aid, it does not give any buoyancy whilst swimming. The tow-float floats behind the swimmer on a short leash.
