The name means "Brothers of Italy," and it was created as a tribute to Italian emigrants so they could carry a piece of home wherever they went. Unlike most amaretti, which rely on crushed apricot kernels, Caffo's is made from 100% estate-grown Sicilian almonds macerated in a herbal infusion.
