Kilchoman Fino Sherry Cask Matured is a limited edition from Islay's farm distillery, founded by Anthony Wills at Rockside Farm in 2005 as the first new distillery on the island in 124 years. Where most sherried whisky uses rich Oloroso or PX, this release was fully matured in casks that held bone-dry Fino sherry, a rare choice that adds nutty, saline elegance to Kilchoman's peated spirit, bottled at 100 proof, non-chill-filtered and naturally colored. The nose blends peat smoke and coastal notes with the delicate, nutty sweetness of Fino, dried fruit, toffee and subtle oak, then a rich, smoky palate of sherry-soaked dried fruit, dark chocolate, raisin and gentle spice, finishing long with smoke and the dry elegance of Fino. A one-time bottling for Kilchoman collectors and a fascinating alternative to the usual sherry-bomb Islay malts.Buy Kilchoman Fino Sherry Cask Matured Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky online with fast shipping right to your door.
