They start as lime green and open to the most stunning white! The individual flowers within the flower heads are large. And add the the beautiful blousy fullness of these stunners. The soil pH can hint the flowers to a very light pink or blue once they age. They antique as they age, taking on beautiful green, copper and pinky brassy tones as they really age. They make a stunning cut flower when white. Or a fantastic cut or dried flower once they antique. Large glossy green leaves set the flowers off beautifully. Full shade to part shade. They form dense plants with a mass of flowers.
White hydrangea generally stay white for most of the flowers life. However as they age they will develop hints of soft pink or soft blue.  Don't want luck to determine your hydrangea colour? Use Hyadrangea Blueing Agent or Hydrangea Pinking Agent to turn the flowers the colour you desire.
