The Shopping Edit｜Powers Irish Rye Whiskey｜ Other Products

Powers Irish Rye Whiskey is the first Irish whiskey ever made from 100% Irish rye, a genuine first for the category from one of Ireland's oldest whiskey names. Powers revived a recipe from its 1800s archives and sourced rye from Cooney Furlong Farm in County Wexford, near the Powers family's ancestral home, then distilled it at Midleton Distillery in Cork and matured it in seasoned American oak before bottling at 43.2% ABV.Irish rye is a different creature from the Kentucky or Indiana kind. Whisky For Everyone called it delicious, praising an exquisite balance of sweetness and earthy spice, with golden syrup, toffee and milk chocolate over cereal and white pepper on the nose, juicy maraschino cherry with vanilla oak, bitter orange oil and clove on the palate, and a finish that dries out into pepper and gingerbread. It is noticeably softer than American rye, which makes it an easy sipper and a gentler Manhattan. For anyone who loves Powers Gold Label or John's Lane, this is the next bottle to try.Buy Powers Irish Rye Whiskey online with fast shipping right to your door.
