Fukano Blonde Whiskey｜ Other Products

Fukano Blonde Whiskey is the lightest expression from Fukano Distillery in Hitoyoshi, Kumamoto Prefecture, a family distillery founded in 1823 on Kyushu. Fukano's whisky is distilled from koji-fermented rice and aged in oak, and Blonde takes a gentler approach to the barrel for a pale, delicate spirit bottled at 41% ABV in a 700ml bottle. The nose opens with fresh fruit and subtle citrus, a soft, delicate sweetness, floral hints and a touch of oak. The palate is delicately fruity, with pear, apple and a gentle touch of vanilla over subtle herbal and oaky undertones. The mouthfeel is smooth and silky, and the finish is elegant and enduring. It is an ideal whisky for the Japanese highball or to sip lightly chilled. This bottle is a graceful introduction to Fukano's rice whisky.
