Reserve Yours｜Skagen High back chair - Metal｜ Furniture

The Skagen High back chair - Metal embodies everything Fjords stands for — a meticulously engineered Norwegian chair that merges timeless Scandinavian aesthetics with the ergonomic science of genuine, body-supporting comfort.
The frame is crafted from solid birch harvested from Scandinavian forests, kiln-dried and joined with the precision woodworking traditions for which Norwegian craftspeople are renowned. The backrest and seat are engineered with a multi-zone lumbar support system that maintains the spine's natural curve across all seated positions. Upholstery in premium full-grain leather or high-performance fabric provides a luxurious hand feel that improves with age. All hardware is precision-machined for smooth, consistent operation.
Position this chair as the jewel of a living room seating arrangement, beside a fireplace in a reading nook, or as a statement accent in a master bedroom sitting area. Its clean Scandinavian lines pair naturally with mid-century modern, contemporary, and transitional interiors, while its superior build quality makes it a purchase that rewards for decades. A floor lamp, side table, and a favorite book complete the picture.
Fjords has been crafting ergonomic furniture in Norway since 1941, drawing on generations of Scandinavian woodworking tradition and modern ergonomic science to create chairs and recliners that support the body as beautifully as they furnish a room. Fjords is available at American Home Furniture, your authorized dealer.
