Currach Single Malt Irish Whiskey｜ Other Products

Currach Single Malt Irish Whiskey is named for the traditional hide-and-tar boats that have worked Ireland's Atlantic coast for centuries, and it takes its inspiration from the sea. After maturing in bourbon casks, the single malt is finished in casks seasoned with Atlantic kombu seaweed, an Irish first that gives it a savory, maritime edge. It is bottled at 46% ABV.The nose is honey, toasted oak and a whiff of sea air. The palate is smooth and velvety with malt, honey and vanilla, then a gentle salinity and umami on the finish that sets it apart from other Irish single malts. Serve it neat, or use it in a Penicillin or a whiskey highball where the saline note plays well with citrus. This 750ml bottle is for adventurous drinkers who want an Irish whiskey with a real sense of the coast.
