Mauao Earrings - Silver｜ Jewelry

More than just earrings — The Mauao Earrings are wearable storytelling. Named after the maunga (mountain) of Mount Maunganui, Aotearoa New Zealand, each earring features three freshwater pearls representing the three sacred mountains in the Māori legend of Mauao: Ōtanewainuku, Pūwhenua, and Mauao himself — the mountain "caught by the dawn." Crafted on a 1.5cm 18k PVD gold plated stainless steel hoop, these pearl hoop earrings are fully waterproof and tarnish-resistant. A meaningful New Zealand jewellery piece for those who carry a piece of home wherever they go. Surf-safe, sunset-safe, and shower-safe — always. Available in gold and silver.
