Zunou Keisatsu: Hyena / Kusatta Tamago Vinyl 7"｜ Other Products

"A long-awaited first-time 7-inch release of 'Hyena / Kusatta Tamago' by Zunou Keisatsu—pioneers of Japanese early hard / heavy rock scene, and the legendary band fronted by PANTA, who sadly passed away in 2023. 'Hyena,' originally featured on Zunou Keisatsu’s fifth studio album 'Kamen Geki no Hero wo Kokuso Shiro' (1973), is a dark, funk-infused rock gem. Long celebrated by DJs and deep diggers alike as a Japanese rare groove classic, its iconic drum break intro is pure gold for beat heads and selectors. On the flip side is 'Kusatta Tamago,' appearing for the first time ever on vinyl. Pulled from their 1990 comeback album Zunou Keisatsu 7, recorded during a one-year limited reunion, the track features only PANTA’s biting vocals and Toshi’s raw percussion and drums—a stark, primal piece that hits with devastating intensity." - Victor Entertainment
