Direction Plus Pre-Fuel Filter Kit – Toyota Hilux GUN 2.4L & 2.8L Turbo Diesel
SKU: FM628DPK

Protect Your Hilux Diesel from Contaminated Fuel
The Direction Plus™ Pre-Fuel Filter Kit is a crucial upgrade for any Toyota Hilux GUN 2.4L or 2.8L Turbo Diesel owner looking to safeguard their fuel system from water and debris. Designed to install between your fuel tank and the factory fuel filter, this kit helps capture harmful contaminants before they reach your engine.
This version is dual battery compatible, making it ideal for touring or work setups with additional electrical demands.

Why Install a Pre-Filter on Your Hilux?
Fuel contamination is not limited to remote areas — it’s a widespread issue that affects diesel drivers everywhere. Poor fuel quality, water ingress, and dirty storage tanks are all too common in Australia.

72% of diesel injection failures are caused by water or poor fuel lubricity

Modern common rail systems are highly sensitive to contamination

Injector or pump failure can result in costly repairs and extended downtime

By adding this Direction Plus Pre-Filter Kit, you’re giving your factory fuel filter the support it needs — catching water, rust, algae, and other debris before they can cause damage.
