Description
Here is a very special sax indeed- dramatic in appearance, playability, sound and feel- Keilwerth have really made an extremely impressive horn in the SX90R alto. The design of the body tube and construction gives the sax a really uniquely big, full tone; for a room filling sound and great dynamic range these saxes delivers superbly. The ergonomics of Keilwerth horns are good too- somewhat different from the bulk of modern saxes but very satisfying to play on (the adjustable left hand palm key system is a stroke of genius)

The Beauty of Silver Plating

Silver plating changes color over time, responding to different conditions and gradually developing a beautiful patina. Silver polishing products are available to help maintain its shine, but we recommend allowing it to age naturally into a unique patina

"Keilwerth continue to impress with this horn. A relatively free-blowing sax that still offers up a sound with a lot of tonal depth and character, it really is a smooth play. It boasts a clear-cutting high register free of shrillness, and there's an almost tenor-like mass to the low note, embodying that typical Keilwerth warmth. Probably one of my favourite Altos in the shop and I encourage anyone looking for a Sax with a unique sound to give this one a try!" - Harry - SAX
