James Gin Asian Parsnip is the original release (JG.01) from James May's gin brand, and the one that turned a joke name into a serious bottle. There is no such thing as an Asian parsnip; the gin pairs the earthy English root vegetable with Indian spices, ginger and caraway over a classic juniper backbone, bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).Drinkhacker rated it an A- (9/10), describing a fairly classic London Dry opening of juniper, cardamom and coriander that develops incense-like toasted spice and a creamy butteriness from the parsnip. It is a gin that rewards a simple serve: a G&T with a slice of ginger or a twist of lime, or a Martini where the spice can stretch out. If you have watched the Grand Tour trio argue about anything, you know James May does things properly, and this gin is proof.Buy James Gin Asian Parsnip online with fast shipping right to your door.
