Zipp Vuka Alumina Evo Extensions | 22.2mm Clamp | 360mm Lengh | All Sizes  Zipp is an American company that is best known for designing, manufacturing, and marketing carbon-composite bicycle wheels for road cycling, triathlons, track racing, and mountain biking. The company's product range also includes handlebars, stems, seat posts, tires, inner tubes, handlebar tape, and bags. In 1988, the company was founded by motorsports engineer Leigh Sargent and released its first carbon fiber disc wheel.  Zipp was acquired by bicycle component manufacturer Sram in November 2007. In October 2010, Zipp relocated from its original design and manufacturing facility in Speedway, Indiana to an expanded site in Indianapolis. The company was first to market with dimpled discs and rims (they also own the patent), to induce boundary layer turbulence and prevent detached airflow in crosswinds. Zipp has done pioneering research in aerodynamics, using various high tech wind tunnels, and has published advanced papers in this area. The company was also the first to produce disc wheels, deep section rims, and cranksets using carbon fiber technology. Zipp Vuka Alumina Evo Extensions | 22.2mm Clamp | 360mm Lengh | All Sizes  Zipp developed an extensive line of aluminum aerobar extensions to provide the perfect fit for any rider, regardless of size or riding position. Our Vuka Alumina Extensions offer three different bends to achieve your ideal fit. Vuka Alumina Race (175g) feature 52mm of rise The Vuka Race bend places the wrists at a more natural bend to help riders remain in their tuck to optimize aerodynamics. Vuka Alumina Evo 70 and 110 extensions are available in both a 70mm (176g) and 110mm (180g) rise. Designed to deliver improved aerodynamics by placing hands closer together and nearer to the rider’s head to start airflow over the rider sooner. Designed with input from top bike fitters, the shape of the Vuka Alumina Evo is crafted to feel as if the rider is shaking hands with the bar. This is achieved through the use of a multi-radius bend paired with a 20mm inward roll of the bar that can be adjusted to dial in fit and achieve an ideal position.
