Aperitivo Mazzura is an Italian red aperitivo from Mazzetti d'Altavilla, the Piedmont grappa house founded in 1846 in the Monferrato hills. It is made by infusing bitter orange, gentian root, rhubarb and a blend of herbs and spices, producing a bright, bittersweet aperitif in the classic northern Italian style, bottled at 17% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The nose is aromatic and herbaceous with bitter orange, gentian and rhubarb. The palate is gently bitter with citrus, herbs and spice balanced by a subtle sweetness and a refreshing finish.
