Something for Your List｜ Other Products ｜Zinnia elegans - Benary's Giant Lime

Fresh, fancy, and utterly bouquet-worthy, Zinnia elegans ‘Benary’s Giant Lime’ produces big, fully double blooms in marvelous chartreuse-lime green. This florist-favorite zinnia brings a cool, unexpected glow to the summer garden, and its unusual color has the magical ability to make every neighboring flower look more interesting.
Strong, upright plants reach about 36–48 inches tall and keep sending up long, sturdy stems made for cutting. The green flowers are delicious with apricot, peach, coral, white, lavender, burgundy, and inky purple—equally at home in exuberant cottage bouquets or spare, modern arrangements. In the garden, they add height and rhythm to sunny beds while bees and butterflies investigate the blooms through the warm season.
Give ‘Benary’s Giant Lime’ full sun, good air circulation, well-drained soil, and regular water. Once flowering begins, cut generously and deadhead what you leave behind; the more you harvest, the harder this zinnia works. Water at soil level when possible to keep the foliage dry. Whether massed in a cutting patch or tucked among perennials, it supplies months of wonderfully peculiar green flowers. Meet more colorful companions in our Zinnia collection.
