Jefferson's Rye Whiskey is the first permanent rye in the Jefferson's core lineup, added in 2025 after founder Trey Zoeller spent nearly three decades focused on bourbon and cask experiments. True to the brand's blending-first approach, it is a blend of three straight ryes aged six to nine years from Tennessee, Indiana and Canada, married with a portion of Jefferson's double-barreled Ocean Rye, and bottled at 88 proof.Drinkhacker rated it a B+, describing a big hit of menthol and wintergreen on the nose with caramel and baking spice emerging behind it, then peppery rye spice, cooked grain and vanilla bean on the palate moving into butterscotch, cinnamon sugar and maple syrup, and a medium finish of fading clove and mint. Jefferson's describes the mash bill as balancing traditional rye spice with fruit, floral and herbal notes. At this price it is an easy everyday rye, and the brand suggests it neat or in a classic rye Old Fashioned.Buy Jefferson's Rye Whiskey online with fast shipping right to your door.
